Debi Davis
Debi has over 20 years of experience managing the farm’s breeding operation. She graduated from college with a degree as a Registered Nurse and for the past 10 years has committed her time entirely to the breeding farm and it’s management. She is experienced and up to date on current breeding techniques, averaging a conception rate of between 85-100% for the past 20 years of breeding quarter horses.
Dr. Kim Abernathy-Young
Dr. Abernathy-Young is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine and specialized in equine practice. She interned at the renowned Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She is experienced in advanced equine reproductive techniques, including embryo transfers and frozen semen. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Quarter Horse Racing Association and has been providing veterinary care for Twelve Oaks since her arrival to the area in 2004.

Silas Traylor and Harrison Sanders provide the day to day stall cleaning and routine maintenance on the farm. They are both nationally accredited Eagle Scouts and have horses of their own. You can find them painting fences, cleaning stalls, fixing whatever Debi tears up, and yes, sometimes even clowning around!!
Handler & Gentling
Kathryn Sanders spends her time on the farm educating young horses and colts manners and ground skills. She uses the Parelli method for teaching the youngsters to lead, load, clip, and all the necessary skills they need to become well mannered and quiet. She is very active in the 4-H Equine program and her true love is barrel racing & showmanship with her favorite horse “Sport.”
